
Snap Inc. has announced the release of a documentary series chronicling the rise of rapper, Daniel “Tekashi 6ix9ine” Hernandez. The official title of the series is Tekashi 69 vs. The World. The app based content will also follow the rapper’s fall from grace and his most recent testimony against his former team. Going forward, Snap Inc. will look to create future seasons of Vs. The World featuring different artists.
In addition to the Daniel Hernandez led series, Snap Inc. also announced the release of a few other new series as well. During the winter of 2020, Snapchat will release Nikita Unfiltered, a series following social media star, Nikita Dragun. Also, the social media platform will release a series called The Honeybeez, which follows a dance squad at Alabama State University. Other shows on Snapchat’s release schedule are Everything’s Fine, Players, Driven and Save Me.
Snap Inc. also announced that they will be renewing a few of their existing series as well. Most notably, the social media app will bring back Bringing up Bhabie after the Bad Bhabie led series reportedly garnered 10 million unique viewers. In addition, The Dead Girls Detective Agency will return for a fourth season.
