BBC and Amazon have offered the first image of actor John Boyega in Steve McQueen’s anthology series, Small Axe. The series has been in the works since 2014, but will see the light of the small screen very soon. Each episode tells the story of London’s West Indian communities during the 1960’s, 1970’s and 1980’s.
Boyega will star in an episode called Red, White and Blue. He will play the role of a police officer who saw his father assaulted by two other officers. Now, he wants to change the system from within.
