
UPDATE (July 2, 12:25 PM): According to TMZ, Slim 400 was a victim of an ambush by masked gunmen. The publication reports that Slim was shot at by gunmen in a black vehicle, who then got out of the car to “finish the job.”
Sources close to the rapper say he was on the phone with his “Ice Watar label business partner, Mud Dollaz, Friday night in Compton when the shooting occurred.”
Eyewitnesses say they saw the masked gunmen who shot at 400 in the drive-by, also stop and get out of the car to shoot him. Slim 400 reportedly frequented the particular block with friends.

Pacific time regarding the shooting, identifying one man as a victim. TMZ continues to report a black vehicle fleeing the scene played a role in the violent attack.
