If it’s possible to make a home invasion scarier than normal, then Sleepy Hallow and Sheff G have found a way to do it. For their “Tip Toe” visuals, the New York duo manages to create a haunted home invasion look. Complete with Halloween masks and an eerie vibe, the two rising stars examine their tools of destruction as fans look upon them through Paranormal Activity style cameras.
The lyrical performance from the two stars is equally as menacing as the visuals. Bouncing punchlines off of each other, the two deliver bar after bar after bar.
“Don’t got my Glock, you get knocked out/Ride through the block with the top down/I’ma clean ’em up, I brought to mop out,” Sleepy Hallow raps.
“They know I’m too fat to tip toe/Glock’ll help you to rest, ain’t no pillow/Make me search for your house, this ain’t Zillow/Bullets sent from the Smith, ain’t no Willow,” Sheff G counters.
Regardless of a freshman list appearance, Sheff G and Sleepy Hallow have arrived and made their presence known throughout the culture. Dropping a handful of projects this year and establishing a partnership with RCA Records, the two have set themselves up for an even bigger run in 2021. Before they get there, they’re focusing on finishing out 2020 strong with the “Tip Toe” video and much more.
