It’s hard to find a good thing, but it’s even harder to keep it going. With that said, sometimes everyone needs a gentle reminder that they’ve got someone good in their life and it’d be a shame if they’d mess it up. Rising singer-songwriter Skyler Rossa brings all of those emotions and more to the forefront with her summertime single, “ALYK.”
“You better act like you know. These girls will never do you like I do. You better act like you know. I’m so sick of being sick over you,” she sings.
“How about you treat me like I treat you? I don’t understand. Why do you want to hurt me like that?”
Taking things to the next level, Skyler Rossa takes us out to scenic Topanga for a sunset performance of the heartfelt single. Complimented by a graceful harp playing the background, all of the song’s emotions and questions come through in a very relatable way.
