A new year brings new music. On Monday, January 1, 2024, Skepta let fans know that they can expect new music from him later this year. The award-winning rapper and producer shared the news via Instagram just after the clock struck midnight in the United Kingdom.
“It’s been years since I dropped my last album and I want to thank you for all the love during my hiatus. I’ve seen the messages, tweets and TikToks, I’m truly grateful that my music is still resonating with the world, even in my absence,” he wrote.
“I’m happy to announce my next studio album, Knife and Fork, is loading. The first single, ‘Gas Me Up (Dilligent),’ will be out January 26th.”
Not only will Skepta release new music in 2024, but he will also headline the 2024 Big Smoke Festival. The inaugural festival will take place on Saturday, July 6, 2024 in London, United Kingdom.
In the meantime, fans can revisit his 2023 releases. Just last year, he released “Peace of Mind” with Kid Cudi and “Smoke in Your Eyes” with Ossie and Harry Stone.
