At Anaheim 2015, IGN caught up with Simon Kinberg to talk about the connection between X-Men: Apocalypse, Deadpool and Gambit. With the three movies all releasing in 2016, Kinberg explained how all three movies will acknowledge the new history created in ‘X-Men: Days Of Future Past’ from the Football stadium being dropped on the White House and Mutants revealing themselves quicker. Simon goes on to say he knows everything that’s going on in ‘Gambit’ and ‘Deadpool’ and that whatever happens in one those movies, the other will acknowledge as well.
It looks like Fox is getting their stuff together, now only if that same universe can cross over into Marvel’s. Deadpool will be in theaters February 12, 2016, X-Men: Apocalypse May 27, 2016 and Gambit late 2016.
