Christmas has passed, but the gifts continue to roll in. Nearly a month before the show’s official premiere date, Showtime has decided to unveil the first episode of its new show, Black Monday. The first trailer for the new show was revealed earlier this month, but the show wasn’t supposed to hit television or streaming services until mid-January. Instead, viewers can catch the new show starring Don Cheadle and Regina Hall before the new year even comes in.
The new show from Showtime centers around the darkest day on Wall Street. The show’s description states, “It’s the story of how a group of outsiders took on the blue-blood , old-boys club of Wall Street and ended up crashing the world’s largest financial system, a Lamborghini limousine, and the glass ceiling.” The description also adds, “To this day, no one knows who ’caused it’ … until now.” The series features Don Cheadle, Regina Hall, Horatio Sanz, Yassir Lester and more with executive producer Seth Rogen.
The series will have a ten-episode run on the premium channel. The first episode is now available on Facebook, YouTube and Showtime’s website. Those who choose to wait can catch the first episode on television on January 20th at 9 p.m.
