Just a few months ago, A24 delivered a horror flick called X featuring Kid Cudi alongside an all-star cast that includes Jenna Ortega, Mia Goth and Brittany Snow. To end the year, the independent entertainment imprint has returned to deliver the first Showing Up trailer featuring André “André 3000” Benjamin alongside the likes of Michelle Williams, Hong Chau, James Le Gros, Judd Hirsch and Maryann Plunkett among others.
“Lizzy struggles to put the finishing touches on her latest pieces for a gallery show, all the while juggling admin work at the local art school; dealing with the neglect of her well-meaning landlord, who also happens to be a rising-star conceptual artist; and tending to the emotional well being of her increasingly fragmented family,” the film’s description reads.
Showing Up is the latest in a long list of projects that A24 is working to deliver in the near future, The entertainment imprint also has plans to release The Whale, Close and When You Finish Saving The World. Until then, check out the Showing Up trailer.
