As reported by Vulture, Shotti and Tekashi were charged back in November in a racketeering case. During Shotti’s plea proceeding Thursday, the Manhattan U.S. Attorney’s Office reported the ex-manager admitted to “using and possessing a firearm in furtherance of a crime of violence” and “discharging a firearm in furtherance of a crime of violence”.
A video has now been released of Tekashi’s former DJ Pvnch, who spoke to Shotti live from jail. In the video, the rapper’s ex-manager can be heard telling Pvnch, “he snitched for no reason.” He says “I’m about to cop out” and also calls Tekashi a rat during the phone call. He states, “this n***a, he broke every code and every rule out this motherfucker. He’s an ungrateful rat bastard, man.” Listen to the phone conversation in full below.
