
Since 2004 the NBA had held the Shooting Stars event. The league successfully combines an NBA Legend, WNBA player, and NBA All Star in one event. The four teams will try to make four shots in the fastest amount of time from different distances. The two teams with the best times will battle in a final round to see who is claimed champion. Team Bosh are the defending champions and will try to repeat in 2015. The four teams are below.

- Team Curry: Stephen Curry (Golden State Warriors), Dell Curry (Charlotte Hornets all time leading scorer), Sue Bird (Seattle Storm)
- Team Millsap: Paul Millsap (Atlanta Hawks), Scottie Pippen (6x nba champion Chicago Bulls), Elena Delle Donne (Chicago Sky)
- Team Westbrook: Russell Westbrook (Oklahoma City Thunder), Penny Hardaway (Legend 4x All Star), Tamika Catchings (Indiana Fever)

- Team Curry will suit the father son combo featuring Dell and Stephen.
- Paul Millsap is a late addition for original entree Anthony Davis. Millsap is averaging over 16 points per game for the East leading Atlanta Hawks.
