To be completely honest, the Cleveland Cavaliers don’t need Shawn Marion. Mid-way through the season they traded for Iman Shumpert and J.R Smith, basically making Shawn Marion’s duties un-needed. The Cavaliers have won 18 of their last 20 games and are on a roll in terms of everything. J.R Smith seems to have revitalized his career and everyone is contributing and now the Cleveland Cavaliers are back to what they were expected to be, a dominant force. Although Shawn Marion could have helped on the defensive end, he is old and can’t really help much with the up-tempo playing style the Cavaliers maintain.
