‘Sharknado 2: The Second One’ has taken over TV and is now taking on the big screen.
The hit Syfy TV movie will presented by Fathom Events for one night only at 8 p.m. local time on August 21.
Tickets for the event are available over at Fathom Events website with over 400 theaters participating across the country.
Ian Ziering, Tara Reid, Vivica A. Fox, Mark McGrath, Courtney Baxter, Kari Wuhrer, Dante Palminteri and Kurt Angle star in the film.
The original ‘Sharknado’ also debuted in theaters to sold out audiences. The demand was so high, the network added more screenings.
‘Sharknado 2: The Second One’ was a smash when it aired on the network last month. The shark disaster film drew in 3.9 million viewers, a huge gain over the first ‘Sharknado’ which premiered to 1.4 million.
