According to Matt Velasquez of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel, however, the two sides are merely close to finding an agreement:
The Bucks and Muhammad are working on a deal — it’s close, but not officially done — that would bring the 6-foot-6, free-agent wing back to the team to compete for a roster spot, a source told the Journal Sentinel on Monday night.
Muhammad, 25, was drafted 14th overall in 2013. He spent 2013 through 2018 with the Minnesota Timberwolves before being waived during the 2017-18 season and then signed by the Bucks in March.
For his career, the 6-foot-6 wing has averaged nine points and 2.8 rebounds per game while shooting 47.3 percent from the field and 31.9 percent from 3-point range.
In 11 games with the Bucks last season, Muhammad shone, averaging 8.5 points and 2.8 rebounds in just 10.6 minutes per game, while shooting 55.2 percent from the field and 37.5 percent from 3-point range.
In the playoffs, Muhammad played just 29 total minutes over four games vs. the Boston Celtics, but connected on four of his five 3-point attempts.
