The North Carolina Tar Heels have landed the commitment of four-star recruit and top ten point guard Seth Trimble. He is the younger brother of former North Carolina forward J.P. Tokoto and committed to the Tar Heels just days after his official visit to the Chapel Hill campus. Trimble committed to the Tar Heels over his other top choice the Michigan Wolverines. Head Coach Hubert Davis has landed another talented recruit for the 2022 recruiting class.
Hubert Davis has moved quick in the class of 2022 now landing his second commitment, both coming this month.
Now have the No. 5 class in the 2022 Team Rankings. https://t.co/DGPdSTmPSC

Trimble is currently ranked as the ninth-best point guard in the 2022 class and the 54th overall best prospect in the class. The Tar Heels attempt to land the talented family members of past alumni and Trimble joins that list of players that include current North Carolina rising sophomore Donovan “Puff” Johnson. He is not alone in his commitment to the North Carolina Tar Heels this month. Trimble joins 2022 three-star big man Will Shaver who is a top-150 recruit in the class. It seemed that Trimble has his mind made up quickly after the offer and official visit happened in Chapel Hill.
Head Coach Hubert Davis has been busy this month handing out many offers to players like Seth Trimble. There is likely to be some roster turnover next year with upperclassmen leaving and some guys possibly deciding to go the professional route. The great thing about a top four-star like this point guard is he’s likely to stay at least two or three years. That level of talent and roster consistency is sure to help out the new Head Coach in Hubert Davis.
