Ohio State Buckeyes forward Seth Towns will miss the remainder of the season according to Head Coach Chris Holtmann. He will continue to rehab and try to get healthy again moving forward. He is eligible to return to Ohio State next season, but there has not been a decision on that front. He had not suited up for Ohio State this season but did play for the team last year after two years with the Harvard Crimson.

The injury history of Seth Towns is a brutal one and an unfortunate pattern for a talented college basketball player. He underwent back surgery this past offseason and just has gotten healthy enough to suit up this season. While his next step is to continue to rehab and get healthy, beyond that it is unclear. There should still be a spot for him at Ohio State should he choose to return.
He obviously means a lot to Holtmann and the Ohio State program despite never really being healthy while with the program. Last season with Ohio State he averaged 3.8 points and 2.2 rebounds per game. We here at Def Pen Sports hope Seth Towns can successfully recover and do whatever he deems best for him moving forward.
