Miles Teller stars in the new trailer for Whiplash.
The Oscar-tipped movie is written and directed by Damien Chazelle and follows the story of a young jazz drummer [Teller] and his fight to succeed in an exclusive conservatory, while his bandleader [JK Simmons] uses a ruthless ruse to improve his players.
The film has already won awards such as the Audience Award and the Grand Jury Prize at Sundance.
Whiplash hits theaters on January 16.
