NBA Playoffs
(USA Today)

The opening round of the NBA Playoffs featured some hotly-contested matchups between some of the NBA’s best teams. Expect the Conference Semifinals to be even more competitive and for ticket prices to increase on the secondary ticket market.

In the Eastern Conference, the Toronto Raptors and Miami Heat needed seven games to win their opening round series, but will now turn their attention to each other in a series that will likely shape up into a six or seven-game dogfight. The other Eastern Conference Semifinals matchup features the Cleveland Cavaliers and the Atlanta Hawks. Cleveland took care of business in Game 1, but expect Atlanta to play better as the series progresses. Also, the health of Kevin Love will be worth monitoring as the series progresses.

In the Western Conference, the series between San Antonio and Oklahoma City is tied 1-1 after a big effort from the Thunder in Game 2. In other Western Conference Semifinals series, the Golden State Warriors carry a 1-0 series advantage over the Portland Trail Blazers. Game previews for some of the top upcoming games are presented below.

5/3/16 | Portland Trail Blazers at Golden State Warriors | Oracle Arena | Get-in: $135

Game 2 of the Western Conference Semifinals will be played on Tuesday, May 3, at Oracle Arena. In Game 1, these two teams played at a very fast pace, but Golden State’s shooting proved to be the difference as the Warriors cruised to a 119-108 victory. Klay Thompson led the way with 37 points while Draymond Green posted a triple double. Stephen Curry is not expected to play in Game 2, but ticket prices are still fairly high; the get-in ticket prices start at $135. Fans traveling to this game can find great deals for Oracle Arena parking.

5/3/16 | Miami Heat at Toronto Raptors | Air Canada Centre | Get-in: $109

Game 1 of the Eastern Conference Semifinals between Miami and Toronto will be played on Tuesday, May 3, at the Air Canada Centre. These two teams have had less than 48 hours to prepare for this game, so game flow may be a little slow at first. Still, Toronto’s home games tend to draw some of the most boisterous fans in the NBA. The secondary ticket market has commanded premiums for home games in Toronto and Game 1 is no exception. Heat vs. Raptors tickets for Game 1 start at $109 on Razorgator.

5/6/16 | San Antonio Spurs at Oklahoma City Thunder | Chesapeake Energy Arena | Get-in: $92

The series between the San Antonio Spurs and Oklahoma City Thunder is currently tied 1-1 as the series shifts to Oklahoma City. Expect the home crowd to be fired up for Game 3 after the Thunder snuck away with a 98-97 victory in Game 2. Ticket prices for Game 3 start at $92. Fans traveling to this game can find great deals for Oklahoma City parking.

5/7/16 | Toronto Raptors at Miami Heat | American Airlines Arena | Get-in: $99

5/7/16 | Golden State Warriors at Portland Trail Blazers | Moda Center | Get-in: $135

Game 3 of the Western Conference Semifinals between Golden State and Portland will be played on Saturday, May 7, at Moda Center. Curry expects to be back for this game, so ticket prices on the secondary market have increased. Warriors vs. Blazers tickets for Game 3 start at $135.
