HBO has set the premiere date for their second Euphoria special. “F*ck Anyone Who’s Not A Sea Blob” will debut on January 24, 2020 on HBO. Co-written and co-produced by Hunter Schafer, the special will follow Jules over the Christmas holiday as she reflects on the year.
“F*ck Anyone Who’s Not A Sea Blob” is the second Euphoria special to air in recent months. Earlier this month, the premium cable network aired “Rue” starring Zendaya. Similar to the upcoming special, it picks up at the end of season one as Zendaya’s character, Rue, grapples with the events following her high school winter formal.
Both specials followed strict COVID-19 guidelines. The pandemic has hindered the network’s ability to film season two of the drama. At this time, it’s hard to pinpoint when Zendaya, Schafer, Storm Reid, Sydney Sweeney and Jacob Elordi will return to action. For now, these specials will do.
