The Los Angeles Rams are riding high after winning Super Bowl LVI. That being said some questions about the future are beginning to surface. Head Coach Sean McVay was asked about his future and coaching the Los Angeles Rams and his response included he’s “enjoying the moment” and “we’ll see”. That may not be the news that the Los Angeles Rams’ fan base wanted to hear after capturing a Super Bowl just days before that quote.
Sean McVay told me before the Super Bowl that he is committed to coaching. But at the least, this bears watching. https://t.co/J0EfDsiida

At 36 years and 20 days old, Sean McVay is the youngest NFL Head Coach to win a Super Bowl. Earlier this season he was aid that he didn’t see himself coaching into his 60s. That being said he is still over two decades away from hitting that mark. The general belief is he will return as the Head Coach of the Los Angeles Rams next season. Still, he did not commit to returning when asked about it. Focusing on a Super Bowl win is a very good distraction for any type of retirement rumors.

The Los Angeles Rams have a talented roster, but to get it they mortgaged their future. When the bill comes due it would make sense that Sean McVay would have limited interest in a long rebuilding process. For now, the Los Angeles Rams are still contenders, so he should return to the team next season. We here at Def Pen Sports will continue to monitor the situation and wish McVay the best of luck with whatever he decides.
