The Seattle Seahawks will have to adjust to life without Marshawn Lynch. Offensive coordinator Darrell Bevell on the other hand is really excited about some of their options on the ground for the upcoming season.

“He’s such a great player, but toward the end of the year last year we didn’t have him, as well,” Bevell said, via Gregg Bell of the Tacoma News Tribune. “But we have so many more pieces now.”
The Seahawks loaded up in the draft selecting C.J. Prosise, Alex Collins, and Zac Brooks. Head coach Pete Carroll is expecting a heavy usage for his younger guys.
“The running back thing, as young as it is, it’s going to be a great spot to watch,” Carroll said. “There’s a lot of diversity there in the styles that the guys bring. I’m really excited about that one.”
Of course any team lead by Russell Wilson will take less pressure off of some of these guys but there is one man in particular who stands out, Alex Collins. Collins was one of my favorite players to watch in the college ranks at tail back who is a downhill runner. Collins will likely get a good number of goal line cracks making him very valuable. It will be interesting to see what Thomas Rawls’ workload is as the season approaches.
