
Marvel made a major splash on Saturday night when it announced the Academy Award winning actor, Mahershala Ali would play the role of Blade in an upcoming Marvel film. The movie studio didn’t provide any further details about the film’s plot, cast or producers, but do you honestly need any further information?
Previously, Wesley Snipes played the role of Blade. In the 1998 film, Snipes played the role of Black vampire who protected human life from other vampires. Alongside Snipes, Stephen Dorff, Kris Kristofferson, N’Bushe Wright and more starred in the film.

In addition, Marvel rolled out a number of other major upcoming film and cast updates. Most notably, the movie studio announced all of its phase four films. In the years to come, fans can expect to Black Widow in May 2020, Eternals in November 2020, Shang-Chi in 2021 and a number of other films as well. Not to mention, Natalie Portman is also cast as the female Thor. All in all, fans can expect to see seven Marvel films in the year 2021.
