New details have emerged about MTV’s TV pilot based on the Scream films.
The show’s four main characters will be Harper Duval, Audrey Jesen, Noah Foster and Maggie Duval, TVLine reports.
The show will focus around Harper, a shy yet popular 16-year-old girl, and her friends Audrey and Noah.
It has not been announced if any of the characters or actors from the four Scream movies will appear in the MTV pilot.
The pilot will begin with a YouTube video that has gone viral, which soon starts a string of murders in a quiet town with hidden secrets.
Wes Craven, the mastermind behind all four Scream films, will also be directing the TV spinoff.
The cast and official premiere date has yet to be announced.
