The weekend has officially got a bit more amazing because we have new music from ScHoolboy Q. Even better, ‘THat Part,’ features Chicago’s own, Kanye West.
Earlier today, in true Kanye West fashion, the rapper sent out a cryptic tweet to ScHoolboy Q, which garnered a response from ScHoolboy and lastly, sent Hip-Hop fans into a frenzy. Releasing no new album or mixtape in 2015, the demand for a new body of work from ScHoolboy Q has risen to new heights. Dropping off a new single, ‘Groovy Tony,’ just a few weeks ago, the record served as silent confirmation that the rapper was prepping a return to Hip-Hop. Now, in the pattern of randomness, ScHoolboy and Kanye West have premiered their new collaboration, ‘THat Part.’ As aspected, the tune is filled with energy, darkness, synths, and everything else that you would expect from a match-up from the two rappers. Between the two, the rappers take the energy level from a 10 to 20 as they trade verses throughout the almost 6-minute record.
