If there’s anything to know about Schoolboy Q outside of music, it’s his social media savviness. Earlier this week Q took to Twitter and posted the infamous crying MJ meme with the face blanked out. He then followed that up with a blank face of Donald Trump. It was assumed that these would be the standard and deluxe covers for the album, but it looks like Q has trolled us all.
In an exclusive interview with TMZ, Q decided to clarify the air on the covers.
“The fact that people think that I would actually use that as my album cover is funny,” Q says during the episode of TMZ Live. “So I just trolled the people because as soon as I put it on my twitter everybody just said, ‘ScHoolboy Q album cover,’ ‘ScHoolboy Q art.’ But they defeated the purpose of what I was doing, I have a concept behind it. Late last night I put out the Donald Trump cover, but I had a series of covers I was gunna put out.”
