Top Dawg told the internet that he was going to release some heat tonight and the guessing game of who the record would come from began. Earlier this year Top Dawg and Schoolboy Q teased, “Groovy Tony”, the first single from Q’s upcoming sophomore effort. It’s been awhile since Q has been on the scene musically and with this official first single, he elevates the anticipation of his album by going in over a harrowing and aphotic backdrop which his flow shines brightly amongst the murkiness produced by Tae Beast. While there’s still no title or release date for the sophomore effort, Top Dawg and Punch both confirmed that it’ll released by the end of the Spring season.
