Scarlett Johansson’s Lucy is hitting theaters earlier than planned.
The upcoming superhero movie stars Johansson as Lucy, who is kidnapped and forced to become a drug mule, with some sort of dangerous substance surgically induced into her stomach.
The substance streams its way into Lucy’s system, resulting in her receiving heightened mental and physical abilities, becoming more powerful over time, to the point of being able to utilize “100% of the human brain.”
The film also stars Morgan Freeman, Choi Min-sik, and Amr Wakad, and is directed by Luc Besson.
Lucy‘s film date was moved from August 8th, to July 25, 2014.
