If you haven’t paid attention, the New York City rap/hip-hop scene is at an all time. For the winter, everything about the essence of NYC hip-hop makes sense, just like the Summertime. Meaning, the gritty street records are necessary to face the harsh Winters with club records taking over when the weather gets warmer.
Looking to play their part, producer Scram Jones, NYC’s own, has brought together three of the City’s own who have been doing their thing on the solo tip, respectively. Here we have ‘NYC Driveby’ which is produced by Scram Jones and features Uncle Murda, Dave East and Styles P.
While there is no verse from Murda, he held down the hook perfectly which makes for the epitome of that “New York” sound, music enthusiast are obsessed with. Listen to ‘NYC Driveby’ below and with no word of an upcoming projet, there is no indicator on whether this is an official single or not.
