Saweetie drops an official remix to her summer banger My Type, with new verses from Jhene Aiko and City Girls.
Hinting at a remix through Instagram, Saweetie asked her fans “Who y’all want on the remix ???? It’s about to go off ?? let me know?”. While the comments ranged from Nicki Minaj and Megan The Stallion and Diamond and Princess of Crime Mob to fans offering their own verses. While Saweetie may have taken these suggestions into consideration, the Bay Area ‘Icy Girl’ cooked up the official remix with fellow West Coast artist Jhene Aiko and Miami duo City Girls.
A snippet of the song bounced around Twitter and Instagram. Jhene Aiko gave a preview of her verse, flipping her calm, yet seductive singing style into whispery, raunchy rhymes. Naming her persona “J Henny”, the songstress adds her own flavor to the hip-hop track.

Yung Miami continues to hold down the City Girls fort. With Jhene Aiko serving time, the young rapper completed shows, a handful of guest verses and kept the City Girl brand strong. In true Yung Miami fashion, she decorates her verse with her authentic Miami accent and braggadocious flexes.
