Sarah Jessica Parker and Jessica Lange will star in the upcoming comedy Wild Oats.
According to Variety, the actresses will join Shirley Maclaine and Alan Arkin in the comedic road trop movie. Andy Tennant is set to direct.
Written by Claudia Myers and Gary Kanew, Wild Oats stars MacLaine as a widow who is mistakenly given a life insurance check worth $5 million instead of the expected $50,000.
Her best friend [Lange] urges MacLaine’s character to deposit the money and retire to the Canary Islands.
No word yet on when production will begin.
