Actor Samuel L. Jackson is reportedly set to reprise the role of Nick Fury in an upcoming Disney+ series. Details regarding the show’s title, plot and release date are unknown, but Kyle Bradstreet is set to to write and direct the series.
Jackson has played the role of Nick Fury in a number of films. Jackson first appeared as Fury in the 2008 film, Iron Man, starring Robert Downey Jr. Since then, he has played the role in films like Avengers: Endgame and Captain Marvel. He also played the character in the ABC series, Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. Fans last caught a glimpse of Jackson as Fury in last year’s Spider-Man: Far From Home.
Bradstreet is new to the Marvel Cinematic Universe. He is best known for his work on the critically acclaimed series, Mr. Robot. He has also worked on a number of series including BBC’s Cooper and Berlin Station from EPIX.
Needless to say, the two have not worked together on a project of this magnitude before. Still, their combined creative ability sets up for a promising project.
