Fairley, who just turned 29 in January, is a former 2011 first-round selection. Additionally, in each of the last two season’s, Fairley has tested the free agent market. Nathan Jahnke of Pro Football Focus thinks Fairley has been one of the better interior defensive lineman since joining the league in 2011.

The defensive line was a major question mark for the Saints entering this offseason. It would appear they are off to a good start. Now, only time will tell if Fairley is worth the money.
