It’s been a minute since we have received some new music from British songstress Sade. There have been talks that she is working on a new album and many fans are patiently waiting to see if it is really happening. Until then, the soul legend is back with a new song titled “The Big Unknown.”
The track was specifically put together for the new upcoming film starring Viola Davis, Widow. According to a press release from the director Steve McQueen, he “encouraged her to dig deep within to a song about loss and survival.” Though the song is deep and filled with passion, it still sounds like the Sade we all know.
The track is stated to be in the final scene of the upcoming film. Listen below and catch Widows on the big screen November 16th.
