After playing one season with the New York Jets after a trade from the Denver Broncos, four-time Pro Bowl offensive tackle Ryan Clady has announced his retirement from the NFL. Clady was a four-time Pro Bowl lineman during his time with the Broncos that also included being named an All-Pro three times and a Super Bowl ring from 2015.
This comes just two days after fellow Pro Bowl lineman Branden Albert announced his retirement from the NFL. Clady made the announcement on his twitter page.

Broncos GM John Elway wished Clady well following his announcement.
A great player for the Broncos for many years–as dominant as there was as an LT in pass pro. Congrats on an outstanding career, Ryan!!! https://t.co/IVY0kyxhZr

Clady had a strong showing to begin his career but the end of his stint in the NFL was marred by injuries. In 2013, he played just two games before going down with a Lisfranc injury. He then missed all of 2015 with an ACL injury including the Broncos Super Bowl 50 victory. Last season with the Jets, he played just nine games before being sidelined for the remainder of the season.
