Russell Westbrook recorded his league-best 15th triple-double of the season in a 111-107 win against the Houston Rockets on Tuesday night. Westbrook finished with 21 points, 15 assists, and 13 rebounds. This was Westbrook’s third consecutive triple-double and his sixth in the last nine games. It was also the third time in his career that he’s gone at least three games with a triple-double, per ESPN Stats & Info, who also shared this:

Westbrook is now chasing Magic Johnson for the most triple-doubles in one season. He ties Michael Jordan at the 15 mark, but needs two more triple-doubles to match Magic Johnson at 17.
Westbrook is also chasing Jordan for most triple-doubles in a calendar month.
