Free throws aren’t quite “free” points for Oklahoma City Thunder swingman Andre Roberson. He’s under 50 percent on foul shots for his career and shot just 42.3 percent this season. This postseason Roberson has been even worse; he’s made just two free throws in the playoffs… and bricked 15. That puts him at a God-awful 11.8 percent. After one of his 10 misses at the line in game four, the Rockets bench wasn’t shy about laughing at him:

Russell Westbrook hadn’t seen the video but assumed that the perpetrators were benchwarmers:

“I didn’t see it at all. Probably the guys that don’t play, probably the ones over there laughing, if I had to guess.”
The thing is, Westbrook isn’t wrong. The main three guys laughing were Bobby Brown, Montrezl Harrell and Sam Dekker. Brown and Harrell have played four minutes apiece in the postseason.
Dekker hasn’t played at all, though it’s because he’s injured, not because he hasn’t earned playing time. Dekker played 18.4 minutes per game for the Rockets during the regular season and would almost certainly be a part of the rotation were he healthy.
