‘Def Comedy Jam’, that gave us the likings of Katt Williams, Dave Chapelle and many more will be returning this winter.
Last November, Uncle Rush and HBO teamed together to give fans a ‘Def Comedy Jam’ special. Now, Simmons and HBO are bringing back the comedy show. In a press release, Simmons thanked HBO for “allowing me to give these new voices access to mainstream audiences everywhere.”
While the show plans to air in December, taping will begin in October. The tapings will be held at the Avalon Theatre in Los Angeles. Tony Rock is also set to host. As well, earlier this month, Simmons revealed plans to reboot All Def Poetry with Chance the Rapper as a potential host.
