While it’s easy to overlook, Russ has been one of the ten most successful rappers over the last three years. In fact, Russ would probably be the first to let you know that he’s one of the most successful rappers in recent memory. Over the last three years, Russ has put out a platinum album, two platinum records, six gold singles, signed a multi-million dollar deal with Columbia Records and he’s doing great on tour. Not to mention, he has one of the most committed fan bases of his generation. Tonight, Russ decided to feed that fan base with new music.
Russ has released his second solo studio album and it’s called Zoo. Complete with fourteen tracks, the project comes equipped with verses from Rick Ross and Snoop Dogg. The project also features previously released hits like “The Flute Song”. Coming off the success of summer singles like “September 16th”, this project keeps his momentum going as he prepares for the second part of his I See You tour. The New Jersey native will hit Houston, New York City and Los Angeles before ending the tour in Kent, Washington on November 15th at the ShoWare Center.
