“Dead President Heads” dropped two weeks ago, but it was the radio rip. Today, the mastered version was released and it sounds just as good, even better, than the earlier one. Along with liberating the track, Royce Da 5’9″ revealed that all the throwaway songs from his upcoming album Layers will be made into an EP titled Tabernacle: Trust The Shooter.
“My original concept was to release a b-side record to coincide with the release of ‘Tabernacle,’” Royce told The FADER. “But it turned into an entire EP that was inspired by a photo my man JD took at the ‘Tabernacle’ video shoot. Trust The Shooter is his brand and we both thought it would be dope to give fans all new music not available on the album.”
The EP will arrive before Layers, which will hit store April 15th.
