Rowdy Rebel has only been home for one week and he’s already making a big impact. As an artist, he’s made the rounds doing interviews with a number of outlets and he’s also linked up with Funkmaster Flex for his “First Day Out” freestyle. As a member of the Brooklyn community, he’s making his presence felt by giving back.
With the holidays fast approaching, the Brooklynite put his money where his mouth was. He went into a Brooklyn grocery store and offered to buy groceries for all customers. Keeping a $200,000 budget, the rapper put smiles on hundreds of family’s faces.
“I brought 200 bands out for the people,” he said.
“We’re going to blow the bag today. We’re going to blow a hundred bands on everybody in the hood.”
Christmas is nearing and Rowdy Rebel is truly happy to be home and he’s sharing that joy with the world.
