Days before Rolling Loud heads out to California, the traveling music bonanza has announced a new partnership with the Black Music Action Coalition. Through this partnership, both groups will lead several panel discussions and fundraising initiatives. In addition, Rolling Loud’s upcoming music festival at the NOS Event Center will feature art installations centered around specific social justice campaigns. Not to mention, there will also be exclusive merchandise available that will generate funds for various social justice initiatives supported by both BMAC and Rolling Loud. As reported by Hip Hop DX, each of these efforts will encourage activists and musicians to reimagine “how they use their platforms to advocate for social justice reform.”
“BMAC salutes Rolling Loud for stepping up and their willingness to use the platform to support racial equity and social justice. This is a bold and strong move from one of the leaders in the live space. We are moving past hashtags and into true action,” BMAC Co-Founder Shawn Holiday wrote.
Rolling Loud’s upcoming music festival is set for December 10-12, 2021 at the Nos Event Center in San Bernardino, California. Future, J. Cole and Kid Cudi are set to headline the three-day event.
