In an interesting move to say the least, the NFL commissioner, Roger Goodell has announced today by way of his personal twitter handle that Twitter will be the face of Thursday Night Football. Meaning the social media heavyweight will now stream live Thursday Night Football this fall.
To say this comes as a complete shocker would be false considering last season Yahoo! won the rights to live stream the Jaguars vs Bills game that took place in London. The NFL realizes with more people relying on streaming services and mobile devices as well as tablets, this is the best move for all parties involved. Check out the tweet from Goodell himself below and to read up more on this story as it develops head on over to NFL.com
This fall Thursday Night Football will be streamed live @twitter so fans will see more of this. https://t.co/s6tbr9FjvY
