Rodney Stuckey is one of the lone remaining veterans on the Pacers team from the Frank Vogel era. He along with Paul George, C.J. Miles, and Lavoy Allen are the only guys who have been on this squad for at least three seasons. They are expected to play a big part in the Pacers return to the top of the Eastern Conference. They have some young stars and new faces but those veterans that have been on the team are just as important as the new guys.
Unfortunately, Stuckey suffered an injury against the Brooklyn Nets during opening week. While an MRI revealed he did not suffer a torn hamstring, he did suffer a strained hamstring. He will miss a couple of weeks.

His current recovery timetable is considered to be around two weeks, which is when his injury will be reevaluated, but that could change. Look for a combination of Aaron Brooks, Joe Young and Glenn Robinson to fill in with extra minutes off the bench in his absence.
