Roddy Ricch has released the video for his first number one hit, “The Box,” off of his debut album, Please Excuse Me For Being Antisocial. Throughout the visuals, the California native drag races, scores a game winning basket and delivers a message as President of the United States.
“Pullin’ out the coupe at the lot/Told ’em f*ck 12, f*ck SWAT/Bustin’ all the bells?out?the box/I just?hit a lick with the box/Had?to put the stick in the box,” he raps.
“I’m a 2020 president candidate/I done put a hundred bands on Zimmerman, sh*t/I been movin’ real gangster, so that’s why she picked a Crip/Shawty call me Crisco ’cause I pop my sh*t,” he continues.
“The Box” is now sitting on top of the Billboard Hot 100 charts for a seventh week. In total, it’s lasted eleven weeks on the charts. Check out the video above and let us know what you think.
