Houston Rockets have done a great job withstanding the injury bug while Dwight Howard has been away by putting some guys in the center position that usually don’t play there or are just undersized. Donatas Motiejunas, Joey Dorsey and Terrence Jones have been doing the job of supplementing the loss of Dwight.
Jones missed a chunk of the season early on and he’s came back to play very well for Houston. Now according to his coach, Kevin McHale, he’ll be missing some more time.
According to a source, Terrence Jones was wheeled out of the Toyota Center on a stretcher. He was sitting up with a towel over his head.

McHale said Jones (ribs) is at the hospital & will be observed over night.
"I think Terrence will be done for a little bit. He's sore."

Here’s where Jones got injured, when he collided with Kenneth Faried.
Jones coming out of the game happened during James Harden’s career-high 50 point game , so Jones not being in the game didn’t exactly slow the Rockets momentum down. It was James’ game no matter who was in there.
Luckily for the Rockets, although it is an injury, it appears this is the most it will be and he should be back sometime soon. Hopefully the Rockets will come back to full health and they can poise a threat to the Western Conference playoffs.
UPDATE:
It appears Jones’ injury is worse than what was first expected. He has a collapsed lung.
McHale confirms Terrence Jones out with pneumothorax (partially collapsed lung). Will be reevaluated in a week.
