The Houston Rockets were disappointed and angry coming into Game 4, and it was up to James Harden to regain control of this series. He fought valiantly in Game 1 & 2, but in Game 3 his energy seemed drained, which resulted to the Rockets worst ever franchise Playoff loss. They bounced back. In game 4, it was another story, and the Rockets broke history in a heated matchup.
In the first quarter, the Rockets came out blazing, scoring 45 points in the 1st quarter, the most ever in Houston Rockets history. The Warriors fought, and tried to climb back in the 1st half, but were derailed by some very key plays in the 1st half. Dwight Howard knocked Andrew Bogut in the face, and only received a Flagrant One Foul. Then Stephen Curry got hurt. He landed awkwardly on his neck which left him with a ‘head contusion’. He was assessed all through out half time, and went through various tests for signs of a concussion, but was negative.
The results of the first half, really didn’t let the Warriors gain any ground in terms of their comeback. They made it to 7 points at one point, but James Harden continued to control the game with his momentum. He dropped 45 points, and made the Houston Rockets win 4 straight elimination games. This game was the game where the most amount of 3-pointers in a Playoff game ever occurred. The Rockets’ have a little bit of momentum, and the Warriors seem stunned a little bit. If the Rockets can build their momentum, and take game 6, could they possibly take it to game 7? It’ll be fun to see if James Harden and the Rockets have another comeback in their sleeves.
