Houston Rockets point guard Patrick Beverley recently suffered a wrist injury during James Harden’s 44 point barrage against the Indiana Pacers.
It appears the injury to his wrist isn’t a good one.
According to multiple sources including Yahoo! Sports Adrian Wojnarowski, Beverley will be out for at least a week.

And from USA Today’s Sam Amick
It's obviously not good news for Patrick Beverley, but I'm told the prospect of him still playing this season remains in play.

This is coming off original reports, where many feared he could be out for the remainder of the season.

Horrible news for Houston, just as Dwight Howard returns, Beverley departs.
This could potentially be a huge blow to the Houston Rockets perimeter defense, primarily against point guards in the Western Conference. Beverley is no doubt a player that many players do not want to go against. He gets under people’s skin, he agitates at every chance he gets and he’s that one guy who gets left wide open and he’ll just hit a big shot or a corner 3 just to completely annoy you.
Beverley would be the lone point guard in a crop of point guards in the Western Conference that you wouldn’t list in your top 10,15 guys but he is one of the top defenders of the point guard position. Now the Rockets will look at Pablo Prigioni who is a far cry from a defensive stopper like Beverley.
