According to Adrian Wojnarowski of Yahoo Sports, the Houston Rockets have fired head coach Kevin McHale.

McHale was in his fifth season as head coach of the Rockets. The team is off to a 4-7 start to the season, which resulted in a players-only meeting. Though McHale didn’t finish out the season, this is the only season he would finish with a losing record as head coach of the Rockets.
Assistant coach J.B. Bickerstaff will serve as interim head coach of the Rockets.
