Blazers center Robin Lopez is expected to be out for a month due to a broken hand. Lopez will meet with a hand specialist Tuesday.
Lopez suffered the injury pulling down a rebound against the Spurs Monday night. The loss of Lopez will mean more minutes for Chris Kamen and Joel Freeland.
Lopez, in his sixth season out of Stanford, hasn’t missed a game in his two seasons in Portland. The big man is averaging 9.7 points per game and 7.2 rebounds.
The Blazers are currently 19-6 and holds the fourth seed in the Western Conference.
