Chicago Bulls center Robin Lopez was ejected during the fourth quarter of last night’s loss to the Miami Heat but his night didn’t end there.
Instead of abiding by the ejection and peacefully taking himself out of the game, Lopez decided to resist and throw in some verbal jabs at the referees. As a result, the NBA decided to issue the veteran big man a $25,000 fine for “verbally abusing game officials.”
